WHITEFISH, MT – According to NBC Montana, a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the Whitefish Hills Loop in Whitefish on Thursday evening.
Authorities say the crash took place shortly after 5:00 p.m. when a 22-year-old motorcyclist was riding at high speeds before attempting to pass another vehicle and losing control of the bike. The impact caused the bike to swerve off to the right side of the road before crashing into some nearby trees.
The motorcyclist was killed in the accident and pronounced dead at the scene.
