MISSOULA, MT – An 18-year-old man was arrested on Saturday morning after leading police on a brief chase through the streets of Missoula, Montana Right Now reports.
The suspect was driving a white Kia Forte around 2:30 a.m. when police attempted to stop him for driving erratically on Southwest Higgins Avenue.
He attempted to flee in his vehicle, leading officers over the Madison Street Bridge and through the University District. Eventually, police used Stop Sticks to disable the vehicle in the intersection of East Broadway and Easy Street.
The driver was arrested and charged with criminal endangerment, assault on a peace officer, DUI and other traffic offenses.
