DRUMMOND, MT – Six people were injured in a seven-vehicle pileup on I-90 near Drummond Tuesday, according to KPAX.
The driver of a commercial vehicle was driving west on I-90 at excessive speeds when they struck the concrete barrier and was sent into the eastbound lanes of traffic. The drivers of three passenger vehicles, another commercial vehicle, and two wreckers at the scene responding to another wreck struck the commercial vehicle.
Rescue crews transported six people to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
