LEWISTON, MT – A man was killed when he was hit by a vehicle in Fergus County early Saturday.
According to a report by KRTV, a Chevrolet pickup truck was heading east on Wolverine Creek Road when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and lost control, causing it to veer off the roadway and hit the 23-year-old pedestrian.
The victim, whose identity is unclear at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, initially fled the scene. It is unclear if he will face any charges at this time.
